The Tour
Tour is approximately 1 hour to 1
1/2 hours in length, and consists of tour guides taking students through all 6
ships that the museum has on display. We have hundreds of marine artifacts on
display, and the entire museum is "HANDS ON" so we encourage everyone to turn the ship wheels and ring
the bells.
School Tour Prices
Students - $4.00 each
Teachers / Bus Drivers - Free
Adults - $4.00 each (for every 10 students, 1 adult is admitted free.)
Additional Suggestions
The Selkirk Park is right beside
us. They have a picnic area, a swimming pool, baseball diamonds, and a wildlife area. The
Marine Museum also has a large area for picnics on our grounds. Or, if it is raining you
can have your bag lunch on one of our ships, the "M.S. Joe Simpson" at no
additional cost.
Group Tours
Adults or Senior Tours are also
available at the Museum. Tours run 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours in length and can accommodate 10
- 100 people. Tour guides take you through each of the 6 ships that we have on display.
There is also a 15 minute educational video that you may wish to watch. Arrangements can
be made to have refreshments in the form of coffee and dainties set-up on board one of our
ships the "M.S. Joe Simpson". Phone or e-mail us for group
